Arthos, derivado de Artos é a grafia de urso em galês. A lenda do urso deu origem a famosa história do rei Arthur, que significa urso guerreiro. Também derivado de ‘Artio’, na mitologia Celta, Artio era a deusa urso da abundância, simbolizava força, fartura e vitória.
O urso para várias culturas é tido como um animal sagrado; pois, possui várias facetas (grande, imponente, feroz, brincalhão), mas principalmente pela hibernação. Acreditava-se que os animais ressuscitavam ao despertar junto com a fartura da primavera.
Para criação da marca buscou-se a união de elementos da arte celta, de maneira sútil, com a imagem da cabeça de um urso.
